Wizzard Media Announces Over 130 Apps in the App Store

Readies for Holiday Sales and New iPhone Consumers

PITTSBURGH, PA – December 15, 2009 – Wizzard Media (NYSE Amex: WZE), the world’s largest podcasting network, today announced that it has reached over 130 apps for sale in the App Store. With the holiday season approaching and the promise of new iPod® and iPhone® consumers, Wizzard is well-positioned to help its podcast producers move their freshly minted Apps into the hands of their growing audiences and capitalize on increased sales for its own newly acquired iPhone Apps.

Many Wizzard Media Network favorites are topping the newly announced iTunes® Rewind 2009 showcasing the best in iTunes Store content over the last year. Among the noted podcasts are: Yogamazing, The Steve Dahl Show, Podsurf.tv, Hawaii Surf Session Reports and Showbiz Newsy News, all of which now have Wizzard created iPhone Apps available in the App Store.

Expectations for healthy sales for Apple products during the holiday season are strong, following leading online indicators and download statistics. Peter Farago, VP of Marketing at Flurry, reported in Mobile Crunch, “Monitoring application downloads tracked by Flurry over the last six months, we observe strong patterns of seasonality and an aggressive ramp toward the holiday season.” Adding, “Historically, the week after Christmas has been the strongest for data downloads to mobile phones, since consumers load up after receiving new handsets as holiday gifts. With download growth at its current rate, Flurry predicts that December downloads will exceed November by at least 20%, making it a strong season for Apple.”

Grammar Girl Launches iPhone App

Pittsburgh, PA – December 15, 2009 – Wizzard Media (NYSE Amex: WZE), announced today that the Quick and Dirty Tips Network (QDT), featuring anchor show Grammar Girl and other popular actionable advice podcasts, has launched its first iPhone App. QDT is using Wizzard Media’s proprietary, integrated publishing solution to produce iPhone Apps for the QDT network of podcast shows starting today with the launch of the Grammar Girl App now available for purchase in the iTunes App Store.

The Grammar Girl Podcast is produced and hosted by Mignon Fogarty. In addition to be being a New York Times best-selling author, Mignon Fogarty has also been a guest on the Oprah Winfrey Show and has won numerous awards for her podcast series. The Grammar Girl Podcast is one of the most popular podcasts of all time and for over three years has consistently been a top 100 podcast in iTunes, currently ranked 1st in Education and #56 of all podcasts in iTunes.

The Grammar Girl App provides the convenience of direct streaming access to the Grammar Girl podcast, exclusive bonus content available only through the App as well as related social networks such as Twitter. There is the additional ability for users to flag favorites and download specific episodes directly to the App for offline consumption.
